In 2019, Skylar gave birth to her son, Seven. The couple chose the name for biblical reasons.

In an interview with Essence, Skylar revealed Daniel takes care of the children while she tends to her busy schedule during basketball season.
"My husband [is] the one that takes care of the kids when I'm on the road, when I have to do things," she told the outlet.
"So it's a blessing having a husband who wants to be so hands-on."
Though she had a packed itinerary, Skylar said she always knew she wanted to be a mom.
"I always knew that I wanted a kid while I was playing because I want my kids to see me play," she said.
"I think that that stuff is intangible, you know. When they see you really going after your dreams."
