Loose Women star Judi Love has opened up about her journey to body confidence, declaring that every part of her is an integral part of who she is.

The 43-year-old TV favourite has spoke candidly about learning to love herself just as she is, even the bits that once made her self-conscious. She found fame with her debut comedy show Laughter Is Healing back in 2011, having got her first taste of comedy while studying for a Masters in social work. In 2020, her TV career took off when she was offered a regular slot on Loose Women – a job she has said is “joyful and fulfilling".

Strictly Come Dancing producers son came knocking, and Judi snapped up the chance to put her best foot forward on the BBC show. Judi has since opened up on her body confidence being in the public eye. She shared how she is now trying to focus on being grateful for her body after welcoming her two children. "Yes, I've got a belly and health/how-rid-cellulite-workouts-diets-12013928>cellulite. Yes, I've got stretch marks... but these are all part of me," she told OK! Magazine.

"My body carried two beautiful children and it gets me up every morning. It allows me to do the work that I love. I wish I had that much confidence when I was younger though." Judi then shared her tip as to how she gained body confidence, revealing she stands in front of a mirror naked.

She looks at herself from left to right and "just appreciate what I've got". The comedian and presenter added people can "put moisturiser on like you're the sexiest being you've ever seen in your life" and "at some stage you're going to see something you like".

Judi hit out at how 'real' bodies are not typically shown in the media. She added: "We're all different shapes, sizes – it's time to stop worrying as much." The mum-of-two has opted to keep her children out of the spotlight but revealed that when they are older "they decide they want to be in the public eye".

The TV star shares her children from a previous relationship and revealed she is "always dating". However, she also likes to "date" herself by having treats such as a spa or meals out. She insisted self-love is "so underrated" as it allows her to understand her "standards and boundaries".

Judi previously said: “Being happy with my appearance is something I’ve had to learn over time. When I was younger, I was always the friend who couldn’t get certain clothes. And after I had children, I lost my fashion sense because it was all about the kids, kids, kids. My body shape changed and I wasn’t sure any more how I fit into clothes. Now I’ve started to dress how I want to feel – vibrant, bright and joyful."
