Secret footage drama rocks the hospital

The hospital’s ED team will be shaken by a new exposé documentary about Holby including secret footage filmed without their knowledge.

Adding further fuel to the drama, the piece includes commentary from an anonymous staff member.

In turn, this leaves Siobhan (Melanie Hill) and Patrick (Jamie Glover) wondering who the mole could be.

Siobhan brings the team together, urging them not to take this personally while insisting the team carry on as normal.

Dylan returns

    Dylan (William Beck) is back after time away and he is determined to crack down on Patrick, following their earlier issues with each other.

    To this end, Dylan takes Stevie (Elinor Lawless) aside to share footage from the documentary which could potentially implicate Patrick.

    Although Stevie does her best to be supportive, could Dylan be fighting a losing battle?

    Cam (Barney Walsh) feels the pressure of doubts following the exposé, worried he may appear to be an incompetent nurse.

    This thought process continues when a patient Cam is treating nearly chokes, subsequently refusing to let Cam treat him any more.

    On the other hand, Siobhan tries to reassure Cam, telling him he’s done nothing wrong and that he is a good nurse.

    While her words are of some help to Cam, Siobhan also starts to feel the pressure herself.

    Dylan and Patrick butt heads again

    With Stevie’s support, Dylan goes to Patrick’s office and challenges him over his new findings.

    Patrick is left horrified by Dylan’s accusations and retaliates in kind with a personal response.

    However, when Stevie is asked to give her opinion, Dylan feels betrayed after she reluctantly sides with Patrick.

    A nervous Ngozi approaches Siobhan and informs her of a suspicious sighting from a few weeks earlier.

    Ngozi reveals to Siobhan that she saw a camera hidden in Resus, however, she didn’t know what to do and ignored it.

    While sympathetic to guilt-ridden Ngozi, Siobhan insists this needs to be reported anonymously.

    Siobhan is horrified after learning from Faith about Patrick threatening Ngozi with suspension for withholding information.

    Following a difficult shift, Siobhan confronts Patrick and explains she had promised Ngzoi her report would be processed anonymously.

    While Siobhan accuses Patrick of not playing by the rules, he responds that he doesn’t care and will find the person responsible for exposing them.

    Casualty airs Saturday nights on BBC One. Episodes are also available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am on the day of transmission.
