AN AIR ambulance landed outside a primary school playground before flying a boy needing 'urgent medical attention' to hospital.
Emergency services responded to reports concerning a boy's safety on Netherwood Road in Merseyside, Liverpool at around 7.50am this morning.

An air ambulance was seen landing outside Wellesbourne Primary School at around 8am.
A teenage boy needing urgent medical attention on Netherwood Road was flown to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed they were responding to reports concerning the youngster's safety.

There are still officers and emergency services at the scene.
