Davide Sanclimenti has told fans he's 'moving on' as the chaos surrounding Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's Celebrity Big Brother stint continues.

The Turkish actress, 29, who split with Davide earlier this year after winning Love Island with the Italian, hasn't been seen in public since her car-crash appearance on Late & Live in which she accused Big Brother of "unfair editing". She was then supposed to make an appearance on the Lorraine show on Monday following her eviction from the house, but was a reported no-show.

Now, Davide, also 29, who claimed his split with Ekin-Su was a mutual decision, has shared a clip of himself in a swimming pool, accompanied by Curtis Mayfield's Move On Up. As he takes his goggles off, the reality star stares thoughtfully at the camera as lyrics, including: "Just move on up, toward your destination" can be heard. Davide captioned the clip: "Become comfortable with the uncomfortable."

Ekin-Su shared a statement on Instagram Stories in January claiming she had been the one to decide to call time on their romance. However, in his own post, Davide said it had been a "joint decision" and that he had been blindsided by her statement, adding they had planned to post a joint statement following Ekin-Su's appearance on The Traitors US.

The Italian model and aspiring fitness expert wrote on his Instagram Stories: "Life sometimes reserves surprises and suddenly wakes you up. Ekin and I, just after the ski holidays, decided to go different ways. It was a joint decision but I was waiting to make it public to respect her time in the show. I don't know why the agreed statement changed last minute."

When Ekin-Su entered the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this month, she said it was a "once in a lifetime opportunity." However, things began to unravel when former This Morning host, Fern Britton, branded the actress "disturbing" and capable of "absorbing other people's personalities".

Ekin-Su was visibly shocked when her name was read out on eviction night on Friday, but was widely criticised following her interview on Celebrity Big Brother's sister show, Late & Live on ITV2.

In a desperate bid to defend herself against claims of being a "fake" and coming across as entitled during her argument with fellow housemate Marisha Wallace, Ekin-Su claimed viewers hadn't "seen everything." Turning to Strictly Come Dancing star, Layton Williams, she said: "You haven't seen everything, they cut stuff out but ok."

However, not having a bar of it, Layton quipped: "We're not blaming it on the edit. One thing we're not going to do is blame it on the edit girl, we see what we see and it was a shame. It was a big shame."

After the awkward exchange, one viewer shared: "That episode of Late and Live was one of the most awkwardly painful things I have ever witnessed. AJ and Will earned their entire pay-check in one hour #CBBUK."
