ROKU viewers can now enjoy nine extra TV channels without paying a penny.
The no-cost Roku Channel app already had a library of 350-400 live TV channels – and it now boasts even more.
Roku has received an upgrade with nine new channelsCredit: RokuMillions of people can watch The Roku Channel, as it doesn't cost anything to download or use.
It's available on a host of popular devices, including own-brand Roku streaming sticks and TVs – as well as rival gear like Amazon Fire Sticks.
The Roku Channel offers an enormous catalogue of on-demand content featuring over 80,000 TV shows and movies for free.

The official list of new Roku channels is:
- 402 – PBS Retro
- 449 – The Big Dig Dish
- 516 – Jail
- 651 – Rig TV
- 913 – Wapa+
- 960 – Chisme No Like
- 1006 – Free TV Accion
- 1007 – Free TV Esetlar
- 1008 – Free TV Drama
The only catch is that you're willing to sit through commercials.
Roku makes money by showing you ads, which means you don't have to pay anything to stream for free.
PBS Retro is one of the big highlights, showing classic series – including iconic shows for children like Thomas & Friends and Reading Rainbow.
And some of the channels are Spanish-language.

The Roku Channel isn't the only option if you're looking for free television.
