THE Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco has been left sobbing by a heartbreaking family loss.
Kaley, who played fan favourite Penny in the sitcom, opened up about losing her third dog which she shared with her actor boyfriend Tom Pelphrey.
Over the past 12 months, the star and her partner have had to put three dogs down.
The TV icon was left overcome with emotion as she shared a carousel of images of her darling pooch, Blue, after his untimely passing.
She also revealed that having to put three dogs down in the space of a year had allowed her to reflect.

Penning the emotional post, she wrote: "I have cried harder over the loss of this gorgeous creature than I have in a long time. We have had to put down three dogs in the last year and this one has made me reflect …"
Whilst professing her heartbreak, she admitted that she had a "rough" relationship with the dog during their first year together.
Kaley opened up to admit: "Honestly my first year with Blue was rough to say the least.
"He didn’t love me the way he loved Tom. I had never experienced this before. All dogs love me! I could tell he was wondering why I was still here?
Despite the rocky start, things soon settled with the pair becoming much closer as a result.
Detailing happier times in the family unit, Kaley said in the lengthy post: “I felt so safe home alone with him and when anyone came to the door I would put Blue on the leash and have him sit right next to me.
“No one dared mess with us! Matilda [Kaley and Tom's daughter] came and Blue turned to mush like the rest of us. He was so gentle with her and kind.
“She was obsessed with his one squeaky toy, always stealing it from him. He would patiently wait till she dropped it then scoop it back up for himself and quietly walk away."
Kaley ended her post with: "Blue, it was an honor to be your second favorite human down here on earth. I can’t wait for you to meet Norman, Sasha ,Kingy, and Dumps. Oh the adventures you will have!”
Her partner Tom also shared his own lengthy post to mark the loss.

Kaley and Tom have been together since May 2022 and welcomed their daughter Matilda in March 2023.
She was previously married to tennis star Ryan Sweeting between 2013 and 2016 as well as Karl Cook between 2018 and 2022.
