Salma Hayek was the latest famous face to make a surprise guest appearance in Madonna’s Celebration Tour.
The 65-year-old pop icon - who has been on tour since October - has been showing off her A-lister-studded phonebook, with shows featuring celebrity friends such as Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin, and Stranger Things star David Harbour. For the final performance of Celebration - which took place in Mexico City - Madonna bought on Salma Hayek, who embodied iconic artist Frida Kahlo.
Salma - who played the Mexican artist in the 2002 film Frida - wore the painter’s signature crown of flowers and a floral skirt, along with a Madonna-inspired black leather corset. Joining the Material Girl songstress on stage, the 57-year-old Desperado actress helped judge Madonna’s dancers as they put on a raunchy show.
Madonna thanked Salma for helping make her the “happiest girl in the world” in a heartfelt post on Instagram. In the caption of a video montage of her final performance, she wrote: “The last show of the tour ended in Mexico City in the most magical way. Frida Kahlo came to visit and made me the happiest girl in the world.!”
