Martel has previously taken to Instagram to show off her chic and classic living room.

All of her friends and family would be accommodated for in the home thanks to an ample number of sofas and chairs.

In one shot, seemingly taken from a mezzanine level, the open-plan space featured delicate wooden flooring adorned with a chic old-patterned rug and a coffee table that looks like an antique straight from a museum.

A huge dining black table can be seen in the background complete with slick white chairs to offer up a stylish monochromatic look.

A cosy fireplace adds a sense of warmth in the vast snap but Martel previously admitted that having a white sofa wasn't the most sensible choice with three young sons.

The TV presenter stated: "That moment as you come down the stairs, the kids are asleep and you think: 'Sofa, now, mine'. And no, with three wee boys (or me with a glass of red) I wouldn't get a white sofa again."

From her sizeable master suite, Martel has a view of the gorgeous Dundee countryside from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

An expansive balcony sits just outside with plenty of room for Martel and her hubby to soak up the sun in their own privacy.

Her huge garden could be mistaken for a field but provides plenty of space for her children to run around and play.

The Dundee mansion is adorned in glass walls them with a slew of them across the property.

The sunshine dazzles through and allows the home to fill with warmth even in the colder wintry months.

Speaking about her decision for such huge windows, Martel told Hello magazine: "When you live in Scotland, it can get so very cold - and yet our house is always toasty.

"When designing our home, we realised the weather might not be tropical but the East of Scotland is so bright and sunny - so put windows almost everywhere.

"Not only do you see the amazing Perthshire hills and pinch-me sunsets but no matter how cold it is outside, so long as it's sunny, the house is warm. Solar panels also help."
