ASDA shoppers are in for a treat after the supermarket giant launched a new flavour to its croissant range.

The pistachio-flavoured croissants landed in shops today as customers can't wait to get their hands on the "amazing" pastries.

They will be part of the freshly baked range, with a creamy pistachio filling and an ultra-buttery pastry.

ASDA shared the sweet news on their TikTok page, asking their own staff to try the new product.

It said: "Public Announcement: Extra Special Pistachio Croissants landing Monday 29th April! 2 for £2 you can believe the hype."

Social media users went wild as they cried "they look amazing" in the comments section.

One person wrote: "Wanted to try them for years and never found them in UK. I tried them when I went to Malta."

Another added: "I bought some today they are so good."

A third replied: "No way! I'm on my way!"

It comes after M&S launched new pastry flavours based on popular desserts.

Shoppers raved "I need this in my life" after spotting the "unreal" products in store this week.

The popular M&S Yumnuts now come in a brand new cream-filled edition.

The Caramelised Biscuit is now joining the tasty range of flavours, which also includes Eton Mess and Lemon Meringue.

Retailing for £5, two caramelised biscuit yumnuts are filled with a spice crème patissiere and hand-finished with toffee sauce and a caramelised biscuit crumb.

The news flew fast on social media as shoppers now cannot wait to get their hands on the ultimate sweet, buttery, flaky treats.

Meanwhile, a snacks giant reinvented two of its classic products with a nostalgic twist.

McVitie’s has announced the release of limited-edition Cake Bars and Iced Gems Candy Floss, which have hit supermarket shelves in recent weeks.

The brand-new Cake Bars are available in two tantalising and nostalgic flavours – Eton Mess and Lemon Meringue.

Sweet tooths eager to go down memory lane can indulge in the Eton Mess Cake Bar, a strawberry-flavoured cake bar filled with light and fluffy cream, crunchy meringue pieces and a decadent milk chocolate coating.

Both flavours come in packs of five, each individually wrapped, making them the perfect on the go snack.
