While a trench coat is the staple style for this time of year, the cropped jacket is taking over the high street.

From utility styles like this M&S beige cover-up worn by the model, to denim options and trophy jackets, if it’s cropped, you’re on trend.

Wear with a pair of casual jeans or trousers, or throw over a midi-dress for an easy everyday look.

For a dressier option, a boucle style is perfect and is an instant way to elevate your look.

Denim never goes out of fashion, but there are always new styles of jeans that come to the forefront each season.

This time, turned-up jeans are having a moment.

We love the big turn-ups on this Mango pair, but you could also turn up a pair of jeans you already own and secure them with some double-sided sticky tape.

Of course, denims go with so many things in your wardrobe.

Keep it simple with a thin sweater vest, while a simple classic white shirt will look effortlessly cool, and the jeans will give a modern twist on a wardrobe staple.

This year, knee-high boots have taken on a whole new look.

The 'Legging boot' sees extra fabric draped over the leg of the boot, making them look almost like trousers.

And there are a wide variety of styles to choose from, including tailored options such as pinstripe, and denim looks that could make you look like you’re wearing a pair of jeans.

In order to really show off the boots, team with straight-leg trousers, leggings or tights.

Waistcoats are having a resurgence!

No longer being reserved for just three-piece suits, they're finally able to be the star of their own show.

However, in a world where hemlines often seem to get shorter, the waistcoat has gone longer - think of it as resting on your bum rather than your hip.

And while a lot of high street waistcoats do come as matching sets, you can also wear as separates to create more outfits - and more bang for your buck.

A statement earring is great for dressing up an outfit for an evening occasion, but you can also make them part of your daytime look so they become a talking point.

Red was one of the big colours to come out of the S/S'24 catwalks.

Designers such as Proenza Schouler, Ferragamo and Loewe all sent their models down the runway in this fiery hue.

And the high street has got in on the trend with a host of red accessories that will add a gorgeous pop of colour to any outfit.

Take this cream dress for example, the red accessories are the perfect addition to lift the look. Red hot!
