He sold his precious Jaguar XF 3-litre twin-turbo S to his friend, a mechanic, in the hopes the car would get a better fate than rotting away in his yard.

"The minute the car left the yard I knew I should not have sold it," he said.

"Even broken, instant regret. I love the look, the sound and the drive of it. Everything."

James went on to reveal he lost a whopping £2,368 by selling it broken.

But he admitted that in the end it could've been a lot worse, as the costs to repair the Jaguar would've been almost its value.

James advised anyone looking to get an used Jaguar to make sure it already comes with all the repairs made, otherwise you might be forking out thousands of pounds.

James' subscribers were also sad to see the car go, with one of them writing: "Sad to see your Black XF go, James. This one's a keeper!"

Another added: "Jags are so underrated. Everyone goes for BMW but the Jag is an excellent car. I loved mine."

The Jaguar XF 3-litre twin-turbo S is a high-performance variant of the XF luxury sedan, renowned for its powerful engine and refined driving experience.

With a 3.0-liter V6 engine equipped with twin turbochargers, it delivers impressive acceleration and responsiveness.

The "S" designation typically signifies sportier tuning and enhanced performance features compared to the standard XF models.

It's known for its blend of luxury, performance, and agility on the road.

The average price for a new Jaguar XF 3-litre twin-turbo S typically ranged from £65,000 to £75,000, depending on additional features and options.
