The stars of Netflix's smash-hit series Baby Reindeer reunited at a glitzy bash last night, amid the fallout from the show's overnight success.
Baby Reindeer's stars Jessica Gunning and Richard Gadd had a reunion on the red carpet last night at a screening in London, following the Netflix series topping charts across the world and sparking controversy and even police probes.
Gunning, who plays stalker Martha in Baby Reindeer, and the show's lead star and creator, Gadd, attended the Love Lies Bleeding screening at the Prince Charles Cinema, posing for photographs with arms around each other.
Their mini reunion came just hours on from the real-life Martha hitting out at Gadd and Netflix - threatening to sue the streaming platform - and Richard Osman and Marina Hyde slamming problematic aspects of the show's mammoth reach and its success on their weekly podcast.
But Gadd and Gunning seemed unfazed by the conversations surrounding Baby Reindeer as they enjoyed a night out together. Gadd, who plays Donny in the Netflix series, was casually dressed in a jacket, jeans and trainers, while Gunning cut a chic figure in an all-black ensemble.
Harry and William's relationship 'hanging by thread' ahead of explosive memoirLove Lies Bleeding features Oscar-nominated actress Kristen Stewart as a reclusive gym manager who falls for a Vegas-bound bodybuilder from a criminal family named Jackie [Katy M. O'Brian]. Gadd and Gunning's appearance at the film premiere comes as Baby Reindeer continues to dominate cultural conversations.
The dark comedy is based on a real-life ordeal experienced by Gadd, 34, who changed his name for the Netflix hit.
The chilling story follows barman and aspiring comic Donny whose life spirals out of control due to an obsessive stalker called Martha after he offers her a cup of tea in a London bar.
Online detectives quickly linked Harvey to the character of Martha in Baby Reindeer shortly after its release, despite pleas from star and creator Gadd for audiences to refrain from such speculation.
