Jay Blades' wife has reacted to her husband's decision to end their marriage in an emotional statement.
The Repair Shop star's wife, who wed the BBC presenter in a private ceremony back in November 2022 in Barbados, is seemingly now living alone.
"I don't know how to say this because it's still really raw. I probably should be really angry but I'm just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now. I don't think I've ever cried so much," she told The Sun.
She further added: "I will admit I'm crying as I type this as I can't believe this is even real. I hope you don't mind if I just have a few days trying to figure out my life as I'm currently in a spare room with a few essentials. I don't know what else to say. All my love, A very broken Lisa-Marie x". Representatives for Jay have not yet commented on the situation.
The developments come after Jay announced taking a hiatus from social media following his uncle Richard Brathwaite's tragic demise. The 54-year-old TV host had vocalised how his 72-year-old relative's death left him "messed up" and he needed to "get some therapy", in a video shared online.
Happy Valley's James Norton teases Tommy's 'deep hatred' in final seriesThe BBC personality, donning his signature flat cap and a sombre dark suit, told his followers in a heartfelt video: "I've just been to my uncle's funeral, he was murdered a few weeks ago. Really, super nice guy, shouldn't have happened to him but it really affected me. I feel a little bit messed up."
He then opened up about seeking professional help for his mental health, stating: "When things happen, sometimes you need to take stock and just relax." He promised his fans that he would return to the online world shortly, reminding them to "take care of each other and "take care of yourself"."
According to MailOnline, his uncle was allegedly stabbed to death by a neighbour after a row over a shared alleyway escalated on a normally peaceful street. It is believed Mr Brathwaite was discovered deceased in Wembley around midday on March 21, following an altercation where a neighbour allegedly attacked him with a knife.
The argument allegedly centred around objects in the alleyway adjoining their properties. In the course of the tragic event, Jay's aunt Annetta, aged 71, also sustained injuries, with cuts to her head and face.
Despite emergency services rushing to the scene in North London at the time of the incident, they were unable to save Mr Brathwaite. A man was apprehended outside Wembley Police Station following the incident. The autopsy, conducted two days after, confirmed that the victim died from a stab wound.
The accused was brought before the court on March 26, facing charges of murder, wounding with intent, and carrying a blade in public. In the Old Bailey this March, Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC described the alleged murder as the culmination of a "long-running neighbour dispute between the defendant and the deceased".
Judge Sarah Whitehouse KC has set the plea hearing for June 11 and pencilled in a three-week trial starting January 27 next year.
