IPSWICH have confirmed the departure of 10 players ahead of their return to the Premier League.

The Tractor Boys finished second in the Championship to secure their spot next season's Premier League, which will be their first time in the top flight since 2002.

The club had looked set to lose boss Kieran McKenna to a Prem rival with the likes of Brighton, Chelsea and Manchester United all circling before he signed a new deal to stay at Portman Road.

However, this summer is the end of the line for 10 players who were part of the club's promotion effort.

Five stars, Omari Hutchinson (Chelsea), Kieffer Moore (Bournemouth), Jeremy Sarmiento (Brighton), Lewis Travis (Blackburn) and Brandon Williams (Manchester United), have seen their loan transfers expire.

Between them the five stars had scored 24 goals in the Championship from 146 total appearances.

Kayden Jackson, 30, and Dominic Ball, 28, were released by the club following the expiration of their contracts.

Jackson and Ball have been major pieces in the club's back-to-back promotions from League One under McKenna.

On their departures, McKenna said: "Kayden and Dominic have both been important members of a group which has achieved significant success over the last two seasons.

"Both have made vital contributions on the field and, off the pitch, have played central roles in developing a culture and setting standards which have been so important to the club's progress.

"Their contributions to everything the club has achieved should not be understated.

"I am certain both Kayden and Dominic will be real assets at whichever clubs they take the next steps in their careers and they will always be welcome at both Portman Road and Playford Road."

Meanwhile, Panutche Camara and Nick Hayes have left the club, with the latter sealing a transfer to Barnet.

Janoi Donacien has also seen his contract at the club expire, but will be returning for pre-season as he continues his rehabilitation at Playford Road.

Sone Aluko, who joined the club in 2021, has left the club after announcing his retirement at the age of 35.

However, four players - Christian Walton, Axel Tuanzebe, Cameron Burgess and Idris El Mizouni - have been kept on by the club with 12 month extensions being triggered.

Goalkeeper Vaclav Hlady has also been offered a new contract by the club.

In terms of incoming deals, SunSport revealed last month how Ipswich want to sign Coventry midfielder Ben Sheaf, but will face competition from Fulham for the 26-year-old.
