Although Rash (Neet Mohan) successfully treats a patient, he is visibly withdrawn and won’t accept praise from Tariq (Manpreet Bachu). Rash has been beaten down by Patrick’s (Jamie Glover) accusations surrounding the whistleblower controversy.

Noticing Rash’s demeanour, Rida (Sarah Seggari) decides to come clean, telling Rash she is the whistleblower and will confess to Siobhan (Melanie Hill) too.

Dylan (William Keogh) is at first in a good mood following Patrick’s departure from the ED - after his catastrophic handling of the incident involving Leo.

He receives a letter in the post that interests him, but resolves to look at it later.

However, both Dylan and Stevie (Elinor Lawless) are left shocked when Patrick turns up unexpectedly.

Patrick informs the pair that until the board’s investigation has ended, he still works at the hospital.

Rash delays Rida from confessing and asks for a word with Patrick before she can speak to Siobhan. Here, Rash “admits” to being the whistleblower himself.

Pleased to finally have answers, Patrick proceeds to berate Rash for betraying his co-workers.

Consequently, Rash resigns from his job with immediate effect and informs everyone that he is the whistleblower, then being escorted out by security.

Teddy (Milo Clarke) reports back to Jodie (Anna Chell) about his meeting, where he admitted to punching Tyler. Teddy tells her that he will hear the verdict about his job by the end of the day.

He is later taken aback when the woman who assaulted him comes to the hospital, looking to make amends.

However, she soon starts playing the incident down again and complains that her life has been ruined after being charged with assaulting an emergency worker, causing Teddy distress.

When Rida finds out through Jodie about Rash having confessed and resigned, she rushes to Patrick and tells him she is the whistleblower.

After Patrick threatens Rida with suspension, one by one all the ED staff confess to being the whistleblower in an act of solidarity.

It looks possible for Rash to return to work with Patrick overpowered, while Tariq looks to tell him the good news.
