HSBC online banking has reportedly gone down, leaving thousands of customers fuming.
Nearly 3,000 users this morning reported having issues with mobile banking, while the bank said it's working quickly to probe the incident.

Many said they couldn't log into the app or website to check their finances.
Taking to X, one user said: "HSBC are you aware that your online banking is not working this morning?"

One other said: "HSBC what’s going on? Anyone having same issues? Can’t access the app and online banking via browser, too."
Another user asked: "Is HSBC having problems with the mobile banking app at all? Can't log in 'service is temporarily unavailable' every time."
HSBC then quickly apologised to customers, saying it was looking into reports of the crash.
It said on X: "Some customers are having issues accessing online and mobile banking as usual right now.
"We’re really sorry and are investigating as a matter of urgency. We will share an update as soon as possible."
Of the 2,800 people who claimed they were having issues, more than had said it was mobile banking playing up.
Customers were also having issues with online banking and mobile log ins.
A heat map showed most users were reporting the problem in Manchester and London.
HSBC has a dedicated web page where you can check the status of its various services, including mobile, telephone and internet banking, and its ATMs.
