Brooke Shields showed off her sweet gesture with daughter Rowan Francis.

Posing for pictures on the red carpet at the Los Angeles special screening of Netflix's Mother Of The Bride, the pair put their matching tattoos on display. They got the twinning ink back in 2021 to celebrate then then teenager's high school graduation.

The adorable mother-daughter duo got a pair of lady bugs printed permanently on their skin to mark the youngster's achievement. Proving the ink is still going strong, they displayed the body art at the star-studded premiere at The Bay Theatre on Wednesday.

Brooke announced the tattoo on Instagram back in 2021, writing on her page: "A special graduation gift and memory with my girl. I'm so proud of you, I love you more than words can say." She got the artwork done at Stefano's Tattoo Studio in Williamsburg.

It comes after Brooke revealed her adult daughters still sleep in her bed while her husband is away. The 58-year-old actress, who has a close bond with her daughters Rowan, 20, and Grier, 18, spoke fondly of her "babies", saying they enjoy watching films together, especially rom-coms. She added she is trying to avoid thinking about the time her daughters will move out as she is not ready for it.

The Endless Love star spoke about her children in an episode of Sirius XM's Jess Cagle Show and said they sleep in her bed whenever her husband Chris Henchy is out of town. She said: "My younger daughter [Grier] just turned 18.

"You know, the minute my husband is on any type of work trip or gone or something, you know, they still sleep in the bed with me." She added: "We still watch rom-coms. They're my babies and they will never not be."

Brooke said she is "avoiding thinking" of the moment Grier and Rowan will move out from their New York City home to go to college. She explained: "People will say to me, ‘Oh, you’re gonna be so relieved,’ and I just don't see it happening."

Grier and Rowan were born in 2003 and 2006 and were raised in Greenwich Village in NYC. Brooke has often spoken about how proud she is of her girls, describing them as "confident and free". She told People: "They are young women who are already beginning to find their own agencies. It took me until practically today."
