Celebrity Big Brother’s Lauren Simon has reportedly called it a day with the man she fell for just days after leaving the house.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star has split from her mystery guy after two months together. Lauren, who was previously married to property tycoon Paul Simon, proudly went public with him after her eviction from the reality show.
The smitten pair announced their romance on a dinner date in March as they puckered up for photos, but things have fizzled out. Telling her followers: "I'm not sure if this is a good angle, but we are celebrating everything" they looked loved up - but she is now putting on a brave face.
The 51-year-old has been busy promoting a Real Housewives hoe down in honour of Nicole Sealey's 50th birthday. According to the Sun, she is keen to move on after her two-month romance and jetted out to her second home in Marbella so she can enjoy some sun and take her mind off things.
Lauren last month spoke about telling fibs about her age. During a chat on former Geordie Shore legend Vicky Pattison’s The Secret To podcast, Lauren said the younger Celeb Big Brother stars saw 71-year-old Sharon Osbourne as a “mother figure” in the house and admitted: “I’d go for a glass of champagne with Sharon as I’m in the middle of the ages."
Davina McCall still talks to three Big Brother stars and felt bad for Jade GoodyRevealing what she meant, Lauren confessed: “I mean, it’s been announced, I’ve lied about my age for years - but I am 51.” This led Vicky to crack up in front of the camera as she told Lauren: “I love you, I’ve lied about my age for years.”
Telling Vicky the real reason why, Lauren admitted it was “because I’ve always wanted to pull younger boys, so I’ll have to start lying again.” Vicky said: “Oh mate, well you don’t look 51.” Lauren then dropped another sort of reveal and joked: “I’ve had a little bit of help. I’d like to say I’ve got a good light on, but I haven’t even got a light on in here.”
Lauren was the second celebrity to be evicted from this year's house. Lauren told the hosts she had the best time in the house and was "overwhelmed" before she reunited with her family in the crowd. Sharon had been given the chance to save Lauren from her fate a day earlier but chose not to.
