EMMERDALE star Hayley Tamaddon was rushed to hospital after suffering "horrendous" pain where she thought her "head was going to explode."
The soap actress, 47, took to her Instagram page to describe her plight as she was sent to the medical ward and put on a drip.
Hayley is known by Emmerdale for playing Del Dingle in the beloved Yorkshire-based soap.
Yet she was away from filming yesterday as illness struck.
Hayley took to her Instagram Stories to write: "Today. Woke up. Thought my head was gonna explode.

"Puked up twice. Took Jasper to nursery. Got ready for a photoshoot.
"Got there and realised I really should see a doctor."
She added: "Ended up in hospital on a drip for medication. It didn't work. Head and neck pain still horrendous.
"Had a scan. Got told I have arthritis. Came home.
"Picked Jasper up. Made tea. Put Jasper to bed."
Admitting her pain was still ongoing she added: "Took some tablets. had a cry.
"Going back to the hospital tomorrow. Life of a single working mum."
The full extent of her medical condition remains unclear.
Yet nearly 10million people on the UK suffer from arthritis, which causes pain, stiffness and swelling in joints.
MEDICAL WOES
It has been a rough year for Hayley's family with regard to medical woe, after her son was sent to A&E in April.

She told how the youngster "couldn't stop being sick" - so the family were heading to the hospital to get checked out.
Hayley again made sure to keep fans in the loop as she detailed him undergoing "lots of tests"
Hayley shares Jasper with her ex fiancé Adrian, who she split from in 2022.
She became engaged to the estate agent just weeks after revealing she was pregnant back in 2019.
AGE GAME
Hayley has starred in both Emmerdale and Coronation Street, where she played Andrea Beckett.
She has also starred in The Good Ship Murder.
Yet despite her telly longevity back in January, fans simply couldn't believe her real age.
The star told how she was again unwell on her special day on January 24 as she wrote on social media: "So today I turn 47. And even though I’m poorly.. and haven’t been able to celebrate… I DO want to celebrate turning 47.. because I am proud of myself."
One fan was quick to gush: "You look fab for 47. More like 37!!"
