Hailey Bieber shared her pregnancy “pain” with fans on social media as she struggled during a photoshoot.
The 27-year-old model announced back in May that she and husband Justin Bieber were expecting their first child, and since then, the Rhode Beauty founder has been documenting her pregnancy on Instagram. Despite her excitement over becoming a mother, the model took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday to complain about one of the side effects of pregnancy.
Posting a snap of her pouting while sitting on a chair with her baby bump on show, Hailey looked fed up as she grimaced at the camera. “So who was gonna tell me about the lower back pain?” she captioned the snap. The model was on the set of a photoshoot at the time, and hid from the blazing sun underneath a baseball cap, while her blossoming bump was out and proud for the photo.

According to the NHS, back pain in pregnancy is due to the ligaments becoming softer as the body prepares for labour, leading to the sensitive lower back area and pelvis to be more susceptible to feeling the strain.

Hailey has openly shared her pregnancy journey with her devoted fans on Instagram, and since announcing her exciting baby news, has kept her followers up to date. In a recent post on her Instagram Story, she revealed that her campaign for Saint Laurent's Summer 2024 collection was shot while she was secretly four months pregnant. “Shot this 4 months preggy with little bean in my belly,” Hailey wrote.

The couple left the post without a caption, leaving the video to speak for itself, as Hailey’s baby bump - which was highlighted in a gorgeous white lace dress - was on show. A rep for the couple later confirmed that the model was six months pregnant, meaning Hailey will be due in August.
She spoke about the intense speculation surrounding her and Justin’s plans to have kids in an interview with GQ in October last year, and vowed to keep any baby news secret. “When there comes a day that that is true, you, you as in the internet, will be the last to know,” she insisted.
