CHOCOLATE lovers have been sent into a frenzy after a Cadbury Easter favourite was spotted on shop shelves for just 25p each.

Easter may be well and truly over but that hasn't stopped some confectionery fans stockpiling their favourite sweet treats.

And after Cadbury Creme Egg 5 Pack's were spotted selling for an incredible £1.29 at Farmfoods, many shoppers could not contain their excitement.

The bargain supermarket chain has slashed the prices on the Cadbury fan favourite, meaning a pack of five cost just 25p each.

For comparison, Tesco are selling the same product for £2.50 - working out at 50p per creme egg.

The incredible deal was posted on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook by one happy customer, who could not believe what they were seeing.

A full stand of the delicious chocolate treats was on show, although they may not last long now that word has got about.

And judging by the reactions of many group members, we advise you to be quick if you want to avoid missing out on the super sweet deal.

One person even joked that the creme eggs would be "tomorrow's breakfast".

A second said: "Where on earth have they found them? Someone clearly forgot to get these out at Easter. Cracking deal though."

A third added: "Why do they do this to me."

Others were even begging their friends and family to pick them up a box for fear of missing out.

It comes as Cadbury plans to join forces with an iconic biscuit brand for a new chocolate bar range.

The supermarket giant is currently stocking its own Gyros & Tzatziki Flavour Ridge Cut Crisps and it's safe to say customers have been sent into a melt down.

After news spread of the brand new release, many crisp fans claimed they were going to "stockpile" the delicious confectionery treat.
