One flight attendant has revealed what cabin crew actually do when they take a break on long-haul flights - with many people envious of the secret area and beds.
The hours of airline cabin crew are known to be unsocial and irregular, consisting of a lot of early mornings and late nights. With long-haul flights, cabin crew members could often be on shift between seven to fourteen hours at a time.
Now, it may be obvious that cabin crew don't work every single minute they're on the plane, but where do they go to take a break? Well, this question has been answered by one TikTok user Justyourgray who works for Emirates and revealed there's a secret area they go to - equipped with their own beds and tvs.
In a post, the airline employee revealed secrets about where cabin crew go and take their breaks on a long-haul Emirates flight. It turns out Emirate planes have a secret door for their staff, which leads to a flight of stairs and up to a passageway. Here you will find a corridor of beds built into the walls which come equipped with their own curtains and TV for privacy.

The now viral video has amassed over eight million views, 359,000 likes, and nearly 1,000 comments with many TikTok users sharing their envy over the secret beds.
One user commented: "Why can't they sell passenger tickets in pods like this" with another adding "I'd genuinely ask for an upgrade to this area if it were possible." A third said: "I would honestly prefer this to any other seats on a plane it looks so cosy."
However, others weren't so sure, as one TikToker commented: "My claustrophobia wouldn't cope," and another chimed: "My claustrophobia could never, I don't even dare to lock the toilets on board."
