PEOPLE are realising there are a number of free streaming TV alternatives around to cut their bills.
With the big names like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ routinely increasing subscription prices, free apps are a good option to save money.
And many have improved drastically in recent years, offering access to top quality shows and classic favourites.
Samsung and LG have their own selection of free internet-based stations available to customers to stream instantly, so there's no need for a traditional aerial.
These are known as FAST channels, which stands for Fast Ad-Supported Streaming Television.

As the name clearly states, there are adverts on them like any traditional channel.
Strictly speaking, most of them aren't actually live, they're just a running order of shows - though don't forget this happens on traditional TV channels too.

Freevee is Amazon's free alternative to Amazon Prime Video.

And there are plenty of big names.
The roster includes channels devoted to The Real Housewives, Judy Justice, Xena: Warrior Princess, The Bionic Woman, Hell's Kitchen, The Addam's Family, Pink Panther and many more.
