A clip of Kanye West hitting out at P Diddy has resurfaced after a video emerged of the Bad Boy Records founder seeming to beat up his ex, Cassie Ventura.

Kanye, who now officially goes by the name of Ye, didn't hold back with his words against his music rival in a now-deleted moment on the Drink Champs podcast a few years ago. In the footage which has since made its way back onto the internet and the damning comments have caught the attention of social media users.

In the clip, the Gold Digger rapper allegedly showed Kanye trying to talk about a deal certain celebrities have made to stay out of prison and say him apparently label Diddy a "fed". The clip from October 2022 saw Ye claim celebrities made deals with law enforcement that would allow them to stay out of jail if they blackmailed others around them. In it, Ye referred to the Diddy - whose real name is Sean Combs - by his previous nickname, Puff Daddy.

In the clip, he fumed: "The reason why you gotta talk is because you did a deal, you f*****g fed! That's why you've gotta come at me, because part of the deal for you to be able to do all that and get out of jail is that you promised that you are gonna go pull my card."

The full interview was pulled shortly after it aired after Ye was criticised after he made anti-Semetic remarks and insensitive comments about the death of George Floyd.

Ye had also allegedly sent Diddy a message wth the accusation previously with text messages between the pair reportedly leaked. Sharing the alleged texts, one Twitter user wrote: "Wow , people knew about Diddy a long time ago but never said anything except Kanye."

Diddy recently apologised for his actions towards Cassie after CCTV footage seemed to show him brutally beating her. The 54-year-old took to his Instagram page on Sunday and said in a video: "I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses."

He continued: "So difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you got to do that. I was f***ed up. I mean I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses, my behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video, disgusting.

"I was disgusted then when I did it, I am disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. Asked God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry. But I am committed to be a better man each and every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness, I'm truly sorry."

However, Cassie's lawyer, Meredith Firetog, slammed the comments shortly after, saying: "'Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt. When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday."
