You may also automatically optimize your phone to run quicker and more efficiently.

It is also recommended that your device is updated to its latest version to ensure that any upcoming methods work at their best capacity.

You can update your device by:

  1. Going to Settings > Software update.
  2. Tapping on Download and install.
  3. Following the on-screen instructions.

CLEAN PHONE MEMORY

A sure way to take care of your phone's slowness is to clean its memory.

To keep your phone from becoming "glitchy and slow," per the Samsung website, follow these first steps to clean your device's memory:

  1. Go to Settings > swipe to and tap Battery and device care.
  2. Tap Memory > tap Clean now to free up memory by stopping background apps.

If you would like to keep some applications open in the background, you may tap "Excluded apps" to add them to the list.

CLEAN PHONE STORAGE

It's time to clean up your storage as shown below if you're concerned that your phone may be overwhelmed with pointless remnant files.

Here's how to do that per the Samsung website:

  1. Go to Settings > swipe to and tap Battery and device care > Storage.
  2. Tap on a category that has items you’d like to remove.
  3. Hold down and tap the circles to place a checkmark next to the items you’d like to delete. You can choose as many as you’d like.
  4. Tap Delete when you’ve selected everything, then tap Delete again on the confirmation.

ENHANCE BATTERY & USE POWER-SAVING

The life of your phone is its battery.

To maximize the battery life of your phone, you may adjust the battery settings in a few different ways.

QUICK OPTIMIZATION

By detecting apps that consume excessive amounts of battery life, the Quick Optimization function enhances the efficiency of your phone.

It also terminates background-running software, removes pointless files from the computer, and cleans up unwanted objects from memory.

Making your phone more efficient is as easy as that.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > swipe to and tap Battery and device care.
  2. Step 2. Tap Optimize now, and then tap Done.
