Taylor Swift could be gearing up to finally make her Glastonbury debut next year.

The pop sensation has never took to the stage at Worthy Farm and bookmakers have already predicted 2025 could be her time. She had been set to perform at the iconic festival back in 2020, before it was cancelled due to the pandemic. Many fans had hoped she'd make a comeback this year as she is already in the UK as part of her massive Era's Tour.

Despite this year's Glastonbury not yet getting underway, bookies have backed Taylor 4/6 to appear at Glastonbury 2025. Pop icon Madonna was rumoured for Glastonbury 2024 but negotiations reportedly broke down over 'money issues. Giving odds exclusively to The Mirror, oddmakers have put her at 2/1 to make a huge 2025 appearance.

Britpop fans have been waiting years for Noel and Liam Gallagher to put their feud aside and reunite. Oasis are at 7/2 to end their drought and reform for Glastonbury 2025. 90s nostalgia could continue as Spice Girls may bring some ‘Girl Power’ in 2025 at 9/1. Andy Newton from BettingSites told The Mirror: “Apparently Taylor Swift almost made Glastonbury 2024, but her hectic ongoing Eras tour clashed with the Somerset festival.

"So could this year’s loss be next year’s gain? The betting experts seem to think so, as the US megastar is already odds-on to appear in 2025. Swift could also be joined by one of her exes Harry Styles as the former One Direction man is as short at 7/4 to figure at Glastonbury 2025. Festival ‘Girl Power’ might also be on the cards next summer with the Spice Girls on offer at 9/1 to sign-up, with Sam Fender (10/3) and Raye (4/1) others that are short in the betting too.

“While Glastonbury bosses may also try again to land US music icon Madonna after talks this year reportedly broke down over money - she’s just 2/1 in the betting. Plus, there is strong gossip around for Eminem to play in 2024 at 6/1, with Worthy Farm having tried to get the A-list rapper before. However, after recent online rumours and speculation ‘Some Might Say’ the value call is to side with Noel and Liam at 7/2 putting their differences aside and reforming legendary Britpop band Oasis to come back with a bang at Glastonbury 2025."

Other odds have been set as Rihanna is at 7/1, Lady Gaga at 15/2, Adele at 8/1 and Olivia Rodrigo at 8/1. Ed Sheeran has been given 10/1 chance to perform while Billy Joel is at 11/1, The Killers 12/1 and Billie Eilish 20/1. This year, the festival is being headlined by Coldplay, Dua Lipa and SZA.

Fans have also started to talk about who they want to headline the iconic slots in 2025. Posting on an online festival forum, one fan said: "I think Billy Joel is a good shout. He's someone I originally would have put down for the legend slot, but if they want to try and carry on from the potential run of McCartney, Elton and Madonna then Billy Joel would be the next logical step imo."

Another added: "I've been banging the Billy Joel drum since seeing him in Hyde Park earlier this year. Absolutely fantastic show, that'd work far better at headline than legend, with more tunes I knew than I expected/realised going in." Someone else picked their top headliners and commented: " Taylor Swift, Sam Fender, Billy Joel." Emily Eavis recently discussed next year's lineup as she was asked if she had any plans. She told the BBC's Sidetracked podcast: "Not yet, we are talking to people. The thing with line-ups is, you think its looking one way and then it changes. So at the moment I would say no, but I have a vague idea in my head of who is going to be doing it next year.
