The X Factor star Lucy Spraggan has treated her fans to a sneak peak inside her honeymoon after getting hitched to wife, Emilia Smith.
Lucy, 32, rose to fame in the singing competition in 2012, but had a turbulent time on it after heartbreakingly revealing she had been raped by a hotel porter in 2012, after a night out for Rylan Clark's birthday during the production of the ITV talent show.
After the tragic event, the star has, thankfully, found happiness with Emilia, who she married on the weekend. X Factor boss Simon Cowell, 64, reportedly walked the singer down the aisle after the two formed a friendship years after Lucy forgave him for the lack of support she received on the iconic show more than ten years ago.

The singer and Emilia are officially married! (@lspraggan/Instagram)While not posting any photos of the nuptials themselves, Lucy has taken to Instagram sharing snaps from her sun-kissed honeymoon. The star captioned a photo of Emilia in a black bikini onboard a yacht, writing: "I'm sorry, but I married this woman at the weekend, wtf", following by four red-faced, sweating emojis.
She also shared a clip of herself playing the piano with a Wedding Card card resting above it with the caption: "This song will forever mean more than any other."

As well as tying the knot with Emilia, Lucy has released her new single, Other Sides of the Moon, which is about how the couple’s friendship became a romance. Speaking of the track, the singer shared on Instagram: “I wrote Other Sides Of The Moon because now we are together it feels like we were both always looking at the same moon, just from different sides of it. Now we are on the same side, I finally realise what healthy love is supposed to feel like. I feel so lucky every day
Last week, Lucy took to her Stories to share how she and Emilia were preparing for the wedding. The duo went to get their nails done before the big day as they shared the results with their fans.

She recalled in an interview: "On the plane, I don’t even know who said what, but I was like: ‘Let’s just get married!’ Both of us were like: ‘Yeah!’ It just made loads of sense." She continued: "Emilia and I were those friends who said: ‘If we’re not married by the time we’re 40, we’ll get married to each other,’ and somehow, this deep friendship opened up into attraction."
Lucy went on to explain how Simon was chosen to walk her down the aisle. The couple were staying at Lauren and Simon's house when one morning she suddenly asked Simon: "Will you give me away?" and he responded: "Yeah!" right before he went into the sea for a swim.
When he returned, he told her: "I’d absolutely love to. It would be an honour." Lucy is estranged from her biological father but says she sees Simon as a "surrogate".
