Costa has just dropped the drink of the summer, and fans are going absolutely wild.

Famed for its eclectic range of frappuccinos (basically milky drinks blended with ice and syrup) the popular coffee chain has never been afraid to experiment with bold flavours - from blueberry boba to chocolate fudge brownie and even mint chocolate chip. However, if you're looking for something even more... moreish, you're in for a real treat this month.

Costa has unveiled its latest drink that has taken the internet by storm. However, there is a little catch - as the 'banging' beverage it isn't available to everybody just yet...

The Cookie Dough Frappe is officially out for select customers nationwide. The vanilla frappe is blended with cookie pieces and topped with light whipped cream and cookie dough fudge sprinkles.

As with all of Costa's frappes, you can add a shot of coffee to the drink if you need a little pick-me-up. However, the new drink is only available for Costa Club members until June 27 - when it will hit menus across the UK. Customers have not confirmed the price, but other frappes start from £5.30.
