The widow of the late Rugby League legend, Rob Burrow, will appear on BBC Breakfast in an exclusive first interview. In a first look clip shared on BBC Sport's Instagram, which you can watch below, mother-of-three, Lindsay spoke of her husband, who had become a pillar in the rugby and MND community.
Rob was just 41 when he died on June 2, 2024. Leaving behind wife Lindsay and their three young children.
Rob played as scrum-half or hooker. He spent his entire professional career with the Leeds Rhinos, making nearly 500 appearances as well as representing Great Britain, England, and Yorkshire.

Despite earning the nickname as "the smallest player in Super League", due to his 5ft 5in height and weighing just 66kg, Rob was one of the most successful players in the competition's history, winning eight Super League championships, two Challenge Cups, being named to the Super League Dream Team on three occasions and winning the Harry Sunderland Trophy twice.
Happy Valley's James Norton teases Tommy's 'deep hatred' in final seriesDevastatingly to the athlete, in December 2019, the beloved dad was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND). Following his diagnosis, Burrow raised awareness for MND with fellow player Kevin Sinfield.
Both were awarded CBEs in 2024 because of their efforts in raising funds and awareness of the disease.
In a preview of the interview Lindsay said that she "just couldn't put into words how proud she was of Rob". "He was just such an inspiration to so many people", she said.

She continued: "He was the face of the MND community for so many people and gave so many people hope. I think that the legacy that he leaves is just incredible and despite the grief, and despite the sadness, we have so much to be thankful for, for having Rob in our lives.
"He made the world a better place to be. It was really overwhelming to see the support and what really struck me was that it wasn't just from the Leeds Rhino community.
"It was from all walks of the Rugby League community. And I think that's what Rob's done, he's brought a community together through the rugby, through the MND community and it doesn't matter which club you played for, I think he's just brought everyone together.
"And it was a real privilege and honour to see those and really heart-warming to see all the tributes for Rob."
