And it's all to do with an app that few people know anything about...

In the clip posted to TikTok (@armmichaela), the woman named Michaela says she's found the "ultimate money-saving mum hack."

Explaining how the process works, she begins by urging her followers to download the "Boots recycling app."

Next, she says to upload 5 items, which can include anything from empty nappy packets, nappy bags and baby wipes.

The first-time mum goes on to note that it doesn't matter what brand of nappy bags you have, adding that any will work, and they don't need to be purchased from Boots either.

You have saved me! I have 2 boys and they have one of those EK pouches everyday! I’m struggling to afford them but they are picky!!!!!

And what's more is she points out that you can upload the formula cartons as well.

It's then as simple as waiting for it to be approved, which she warns can take up to 24 hours.

Michaela captioned the post: "Credits to genevieve.talks as I have seen this hack on her page."

It wasn't long before the post racked up a whopping 110k views and several comments from grateful parents up and down the nation.

"You have saved me! I have 2 boys and they have one of those EK pouches everyday! I’m struggling to afford them but they are picky!!!!!" wrote one.

A second commented: "What! Never heard of this magic app!"

A third helpfully pointed out: "You can scan baby food pouches on this too!"
