Love Island’s Kaz Crossley has pleaded with fans to stop trolling her ex-boyfriend Theo Campbell over her drug arrest in Dubai.

Last week, the 28-year-old reality star was freed from a Dubai prison cell after being arrested on suspicion of drug offences on Monday February 13.

Kaz was arrested at Abu Dhabi airport while in transit for a flight to Thailand after being flagged up to United Arab Emirates authorities who are reportedly investigating a video of the Love Island star snorting a white substance in 2020.

She has since spoken out about the ordeal after spending four days behind bars, and claimed an ex-boyfriend had leaked the video to the press.

But now, Kaz had to urge fans to stop sending her ex boyfriend Theo, 31, abuse over false speculation that he leaked the video which led to her arrest. She insisted the former flame who did leak the video was one she kept anonymous.

Taking to her Instagram story on Thursday night, the Combat Collective founder quashed rumours that he was the one behind the video, writing: “It wasn’t Theo! We are friends now and just filmed a show together. Please stop sending him abuse.

“It was a relationship that I kept private. Thank you for all the love on my recent video. Love you all x”, she concluded.

It comes as Kaz broke her silence after she was detained in a Dubai jail over a video of herself with a white substance in 2020.

The influencer has now taken to to address the video, taken in Dubai, saying it was taken at a time when "I definitely didn't love myself".

Kaz said: "I owe it to myself to get closure about this," as she confirmed it was her in the clip, and said she's "ready to move forward."

Speaking in an Instagram video, Kaz said: "So in 2020 I was in Dubai and I was filmed, it was me in the video. No one forced me to do that. It was a time in my life where I definitely didn't love myself at all. And this is reflected in what I was doing to my body and who I surrounded myself with."

Kaz described how she was on her way to a "dream job", when she was stopped after taking a flight to Abu Dhabi.

"I wasn't thinking. I was then detained in Abu Dhabi and kept in custody from Money through to Friday which is when they released me."

"I was very accepting of the situation," Kaz said.
