One woman revealed the DIY trick that kept her grandmother's complexion smooth throughout her life.
Commenting on an anti-aging Reddit post, user Specialistkate shared the secret technique her grandma swore by for combating wrinkles.
She explained that her grandmother had focused on the 11 lines that formed between her eyebrows.
"My grandma used to put a 'V' of Scotch Tape between her eyebrows because she said she always frowned in her sleep," Kate said.

Kate described how effective the DIY hack was at maintaining her late grandmother's youthful complexion.
"It worked amazingly well and kept her wrinkle-free there for decades," she wrote.
The Reddit user's grandmother first tried the trick when she was middle-aged.
She was so impressed with the technique that she kept it up for the remainder of her life
"She started in the 1970s and continued on until she became ill in the 2000s and passed," the poster explained.
It wasn't until after her grandmother died that Kate became aware of how often she used the Scotch Tape trick.
"When I moved my grandpa out of the farmhouse they shared we found packages of Scotch Tape stashed all over the house," Kate said.
"It’s now a weirdly heartwarming happy memory I have of my grandma and I realize that maybe I need to start doing that too."
While Kate's grandmother had to get creative with her anti-wrinkle measures, many beauty companies have since released face tape specifically designed to maintain smooth skin.
The experts at Ochsner Health discussed the effectiveness of the technique.

"Keeping the muscles in place throughout the night helps thwart wrinkle formation, temporarily at least," they explained.
"Many skincare experts agree that face taping can reduce fine lines immediately upon removing the tape but it’s going to be a temporary effect."
According to the professionals, the lines are "likely to reform within hours."
"And, while fine lines might be reduced, the taping typically does not help with deep wrinkles," they concluded.
Reddit users shared their thoughts on the DIY hack in the comments section.
