CHELSEA have discussed including Nicolas Jackson as part of any deal for Newcastle's Alexander Isak.

The Blues have enquired about the availability of the Swedish striker, who is valued at over £100million.

Given the fee being demanded, a deal is unlikely to happen without any players moving the other way - and Jackson has been suggested.

The Senegal international, 23, endured a turbulent first season at Stamford Bridge, but did end the campaign with 17 goals and six assists in all competitions - bagging four in his last five Premier League games.

Jackson has been considered an important figure for the future at Chelsea, but could have to be sacrificed should a deal for Isak become possible.

Despite facing financial issues around profit and sustainability rules, Newcastle are reluctant to sell such an important player.

Eddie Howe is open to selling strike partner Callum Wilson this summer but wants to keep Isak and bolster the front line around him.

The 24-year-old struggled with injuries last season but still managed 25 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions - 21 of them coming in the league.

Newcastle are also looking to sell youngster Yankuba Minteh, with Brighton and Everton both keen.

Brighton have bid £30m while Everton are considering a swap deal for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Chelsea are also keen to sign Leicester midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

The Foxes academy graduate was also a target for Brighton, who had a bid rejected in January.

Newly promoted Leicester have already rejected one bid from West London, though Chelsea are expected to return with another offer and could also include players as part of that deal too.

Armando Broja and midfielder Cesare Casadei, who spent the first half of last season at the King Power, have been discussed.

Dewsbury-Hall was one of Enzo Maresca's key men as the Foxes won the Championship last season before the Italian left to join Chelsea.

The Blues have also completed the signing of Aston Villa youngster Omari Kellyman for £19m after Ian Maatsen moved to Villa Park in a deal worth £37.5m.
