RYLAN Clark looks unrecognisable as she showed off his ‘real’ hair colour.

Rylan has always rocked dark features since shooting to fame on The X Factor in 2012.

But he's decided to embrace his natural side.

The telly legend shared a selfie of himself with auburn locks on his page.

Rylan confessed: "Stripped colour from my hair to give it a reset.

"For anyone wondering this is what I look like with no colour in and no make uppppp."

Many fans and his famous pals rushed to the comments section to share the love.

Ruth Langsford said: "I LOVE this colour! Keep it ❤️."

Lisa Faulkner added: You look gorgeous

Denise Welch chimed in: Your eyes!!!! ????

Katie Piper commented: Youthful ????

Last year Rylan showed off his ‘natural ginger hair’ after running out of beard dye.

He captioned the post: "I MIGHT try natural for a bit."

Rylan added: "Beard shaved... Run out of colour... Ginger for a day."

Clearly proud of his natural look he then jokingly continued: "Just call me ginger spice."

In 2022 the star shared a picture of him as a schoolboy rocking spikey ginger hair.

Rylan started using dye at just 14.

But it seems his decision to cover up his natural hair colour was born out of being bullied at school.

Speaking to The Sun he candidly said:"I always struggled with how I looked growing up."

He added: "At school I was the little fat ginger kid and used to get picked on.

"I was quite camp, so the gay thing played its part. I used to start dying my hair at 14."

As an adult looking back on his childhood years, Rylan admitted that he "regrets" taking such lengths to fit in.

He continued: "Do I sit here and have any regrets? Yes we all have regrets. I would love nothing more than to grow my hair out, stop colouring it, not have to trim my beard...but I created a look that people recognise."
