Fans watched on as Tom, 61, showed off his dance moves to Oasis's Don't Look Back In Anger.

Simon, 54, then belted out the lyrics as Coldplay made history by headlining Glastonbury for the fifth time.

Embracing their inner youth, both actors seemed blissfully unaware they were being filmed.

Gillian Anderson was also spotted in the VIP area with the two men as she sang along to Chris Martin.

Top Gun star Tom wore a black open collar shirt while Simon opted for a white t-shirt paired with a grey jacket.

Meanwhile, Glastonbury viewers were left in tears as Coldplay brought out Hollywood star Michael J Fox during their gig.

The legendary actor, who is living with Parkinson's disease, held a red Fender Stratocaster as he was wheeled onto the Pyramid Stage for an emotional rendition of the band's track Humankind.

After paying tribute to festival organiser Michael Eavis, frontman Chris Martin sang: "He's another legendary Michael, one who just totally rocks, with his Chuck Berry riff and the way he punched Biff, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Michael J Fox."

The festival then erupted into cheers as the Marty McFly actor, 63, emerged from the wings.

And there wasn't a dry eye on Worthy Farm's most famous field or on sofas at home as he strummed his guitar during moving anthem Fix You.
