IN an astonishing display of speed and skill, one of the world's fastest typists hit an incredible 305 words per minute.
A 17-year-old gamer and YouTuber, MythicalRocket, who goes by Rocket, completed the jaw-dropping typing speed in a video while using an Apex Pro keyboard.
Rocket has not graduated high school yet, but he proved he can complete world-record-level typing after practicing his craft often.
The video was posted to his YouTube channel (@MyticalRocket) about nine months ago.
People were in pure awe over the video in the comments.

"As someone who consistently gets below 50wpm, this is freaking insane. Congratulations man," one person said.
"People often are really shocked when I hit 170 but I can't imagine 300. It's so mind-boggling," another user said.
The jet-speed typist shared how he accomplished this great skill in an interview with PC Mag on Wednesday.
He credited his frequent gaming including some typing games and a personal challenge to himself.
“It's kind of hard for me to remember at this point, but I would say around three years ago was when I started to really get into it,” Rocket told PC Mag.
“We never really had a dedicated [typing] class when I went to school.
“Something happened between then and now that caused me to get, like, 140.
"I guess that gap can be attributed to gaming.
“I played a lot of Minecraft, and I talked over chat a lot.
“At some point, I realized that I was kind of fast, and I wanted to become just a little faster.

“It was sort of a challenge for me.
“So I aimed for like 150 WPM, and then once I hit 150, I aimed for 160—all the way up to like 200.
“And then from there, I think I stopped for a while. I was like, ‘OK, I hit my goal.’”
Rocket also highlighted how he spent time practicing on free typing game websites to get to his incredible typing speed.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
The websites are called Monkeytype and Typeracer.
“Both sites are fundamentally just typing speed games, but with a key difference: While Typeracer pits players against each other to type full English sentences as fast as possible,” Rocket explained.
“Monkeytype simply presents users with a random string of words to type within a given time limit.
So every day I would load [Monkeytype] up for maybe like 15, 30 minutes, and I just type, go ham, and I'd just keep doing it and then I’d get faster.

The “going ham” practice allowed Rocket to rack up multiple typing world records.
“I have the 60-second world record right now,” he said.
"I also have the 15-second one. I have other ones, too, but people don't really care about those.”
Now, Rocket plans to continue breaking his own records.
