Guinness fans have shared their delight after pints of the dark, frothy beer are limitless thanks to a deal at one pub.

Bottomless drinking has become one of the most popular modern ways to enjoy day time socialising - offering as many drinks as you want for a set fee. Often priced between £25-£40 customers are able to get their favourite drink repeatedly made at a bar for up to an hour. But one pub has trumped the typical offers - it has launched an offer for two hours worth of bottomless pints of Guiness.

Irish pub The Four Leaf in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire is charging customers £34 for unlimited Guinness and a brunch dish. The pub has grown in popularity after taking over the former Pitcher and Piano Bar in John Street.

The offer has gone viral on social media recently after being shared on beer fan account @PintoO_Guiness. The post on X, which asks 'how many could you drink?', has been seen by more than 2.5million people.

A number of people were speaking about how many pints they think they could manage in an hour - but some pointed out they will take a while to pour.

One beer fan commented: "Six comfortably. I think 20 mins per pint is reasonable. If I was pushing myself I reckon I could do eight but not sure I would enjoy it. Of course it's dependant on how quick the service is."

One individual said: "In reality you're going to struggle to do more than eight. That's 15 min pints but you're going to have to include, ordering, pouring, settling for each one. And I can't imagine the staff being as quick as they possibly can in taking your order, pouring and then serving."

Another pointed out: "I can manage about two pints of Guinness before I'm bloated, three at a push but I won't be comfortable for the rest of the day." One other wrote: "On a time limit of 2 hours I would expect to drink 12, I would be merry but happy."

"At about £6 a pint, I'd definitely get my monies worth," said another.
