ATTEMPTING a home re-design can be tricky under any circumstances but for steam-benders Tom and Dani turning their tiny Cornish cottage into a mini complex proved to be a big challenge.
The pair run their own steam-bending business whereby they use hot steam to soften pieces of wood and create stunning art installations.
They are able to create bends and curvatures and they decided to put this into practise in their home to create a wooden-curved haven unlike anywhere else.
Fans were treated to the sight of the stunning home once again thanks to the Grand Designs broadcast on digital channel More4.
The Grade II listed cottage was quick to be transformed into a wooden fortress surrounded by the Cornish forest.

When the couple moved in, the house featured one singular bathroom located in an outhouse across from the main premises which proved impractical for the family of four.
Having been based there for three years, they set a budget of £100,000 and a target of 12 months to complete their home renovation and that included doing a lot of the project themselves.
Once the builder had installed all the timber framing, it was up to Dani and Tom to create the rest of their impressive new home.
The couple even turned into recluses in order to get the project done with Tom admitting: "I haven't seen anyone in so long. I'm in the workshop till six or seven, then I come down and have some dinner and then it's straight up [the build] till 10.30 at night."
After hitting a number of new bumps along the way, it was 15 months until the pair were finally able to begin living in the house and out of the cramped space it once was but it was still yet to be fully completed.
With Dani discovering her pregnancy just weeks later, they battled to get the home complete in time for the due date of October.
The pair's hard work had paid off as they were able to completely transform the look of the home into something much more chic and desirable.
They added a stunning woodblock stairwell which helped to bring the once cramped and tiny cottage to life.
The Cornish dream home had been transformed in size from the mere 44 square meters it once was into a much more appealing 212 square meters.
However, a home project of this scale does not come cheap as Dani admitted that they had spent an eye-watering £160,000 to create their perfect abode.
