VERNON Kay made a very rare public appearance with his eldest daughter Phoebe last night.

The TV presenter, 48, was joined at the screening of John Wick: Chapter 4 by the 18-year-old, who is the spitting image of her mum Tess Daly, 53.

Proud Vernon looked his usual dapper self in jeans and polar neck, while Phoebe showed off her fun sense of style in leather look trousers and white top.

The UK presenting pair also have a second daughter, Amber, who is 13 years old.

In October of last year, Vernon and Strictly host Tess marked Phoebe’s birthday with a lovely tribute.

"Where did the time go? Our little Phoebe is 18 today!" they both wrote. "Wishing you the happiest birthday!

"We are so proud of you and can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you," they added with a love heart. "Love you to the moon & back."

They also opened up as Phoebe headed off to drama school, with Vernon telling the MailOnline:  "It's weird that Phoebe will soon be leaving home because it only feels like two minutes they were both in nappies.

"It's such a cliché and you don't take it on board at the time but both our parents told us to enjoy every minute and take lots of photographs because tomorrow they'll be at university and leaving home."

The star also revealed that he and Tess are keen for their children to have their own careers.

He explained: "We let them be independent when it comes to them and their futures because it's important that you allow them to find themselves, which is character building and personality development.

“Sometimes I think that the old silver spoon and life on a plate in front of them… I think that's quite contradictory to how you want them to be.”
