BBC One's Blue Lights follows three rookie police officers -  Grace Ellis, Tommy Foster and Annie Conlon - working in Belfast, and the challenges they face.

In the latest edition, the team worked together after the shooting.

Stevie clashed with the spooks, Mo learned the truth about his father, and Grace accepted that she might break her promise to Angela.

The series did not impress viewers; some described it as "atrocious," and they criticised the BBC for the production on Twitter.

Some pointed out a few continuity errors in the filming, calling it "cheap".

One raging viewer wrote: "Just started with episode 1 of Blue Lights It’s totally trumping Line Of Duty already in artistic licence, and the atrocious vehicle continuity errors are making my eyes bleed. Just feels to me like a fantastic subject and storyline is being done on the cheap."

Another complained: "BBC Bias Heard on 5live drive yesterday two t**** trying to make out Blue Lights is brilliant edge of seat programme ; same t**** who claim Happy Valley is the greatest programme ever ; the air of desperation at the BBC is palpable #DefundTheBBC."

A third fumed: "What a load of s****!"

A fourth added: "This show is absolutely c***, I have to say."

"Another s**t BBC series, for god sake," another viewer penned.

Despite some negative response, the series also received positive comments.

One viewer wrote: "Blue Lights is a great watch!"

"Well done to the BBC on Blue Light," another added.
