KIM Kardashian has been slammed after she revealed a "disgusting" demand she asked of her daughter North West.
Kim, 42, was accompanied by her eldest child North when she attended the 2023 Met Gala on Monday evening wearing a custom-made Schiaparelli gown made entirely of strands of pearls.
Nine-year-old North didn't walk the carpet with her famous mom, but she did travel to The Metropolitan Museum of Art with her in a taxi.
Speaking to reporters at the prestigious fashion event, Kim opened up about how North helped her before she'd even arrived at the gala.
Revealing that pearls were falling off her dress early in the evening, Kim said: "I told my daughter to grab them all, they're real pearls and she was putting them all in her purse!"

She also confirmed that the tween was waiting in a car while she walked the carpet, and was present when Kim did a shot with her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner before the gala.
However, many people were disgusted with Kim's revelation and took to Reddit to vent.
Posting a screenshot, one person wrote: "Save northie. She wasn’t JUST a prop y’all, she also does slave labor!! /s Someone check on North.
"My mama heart aches for her.. seriously she deserves better. She deserves to be a kid," they added.
Others quickly commented on the thread as one said: "Adding insult to injury, this was a school night! For pretty much all of America anyway!? Like this wasn’t some holiday. Kim is so dreadful, it makes me sick."
Another person fumed: "Disgusting.. She shouldn't bow down & pick up her mother's s**t, while the mother lets people take pictures of her in her playboy attire."
The comments come after Skims founder Kim was accused of "abandoning" North outside the Met Gala.
A fan shared a video of the child looking "scared" as she stood alone on the street in New York City on Monday evening.
North was filmed standing on the sidewalk, fiddling with her hair and clutching her bag.
A photographer was seen standing next to the preteen and crouching as he took photos of her.

The fan - who was standing opposite North in a crowd - posted the clip on TikTok and wrote: "North is literally scared of us."
Kim's critics reposted the clip on Reddit and branded her "vile" for appearing to leave her child alone.
One wrote: "Why has she been left there on her own with some random adult taking photos of her?
"She’s 9 years old why is Kim treating her like a f**king adult? She should be at home."
Another added: "Omg where is her mother/family? She’s alone with a stranger taking pics of her?
"Doesn’t she have school tomorrow? This is disturbing."
