Kellie reprised her EastEnders role briefly in 2012, but has kept busy with other acting roles including Call The Midwife, Ridley and Death in Paradise.

Now, the 41-year-old actress is joining rival BBC soap Doctors as a character called Jo McLennon.

The episodes, which will air next month, will see Al visit Jo and realise all is not well at home as she battles agoraphobia.

Panic then ensues when her young son Freddie fails to turn up at school, and his older brother Conor opens up to Al about his drug problem.

It is the second time Kellie has appeared in Doctors, having previously starred in an episode as a different character in 2016.

Her latest role will air just weeks after Kellie revealed the adorable name of her third child.

Kellie shared news of the new arrival in a sweet post uploaded to her Instagram account in March.

And earlier this week she shared the tot’s moniker, revealing they’ve called him Ezra Cillian.

Kellie and her husband Phil Davies are already parents to seven-year-old twins Pearl and Louis.
