EASTENDERS' Lily Slater actress Lillia Turner was unrecognisable at The British Soap Awards on Saturday night.

The 13-year-old actress joined her EastEnders co-stars at the annual soap event in Manchester to see if the BBC soap could win big.

Lillia's character Lily has been at the centre of one of the show's most controversial storylines in the past year, with the 12-year-old becoming pregnant by Ricky Mitchell.

While Lily spends most of her time in either her school uniform or her dressing gown, Lillia had the chance to dress up for the awards and wore a stylish, light metallic gold floor length gown from Krystalls Boutique in Leigh-On-Sea.

It featured a draped detail at one side and Lillia wore minimal accessories, while styling her long brown hair in loose waves.

The young actress posed for pictures on the red carpet with her on-screen relative Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater.

Lillia's night got even better as she won The Best Young Performer Award for her incredible work as Lily.

The starlet looked thrilled as she took to the stage to receive her award, which was one of four that EastEnders picked up on the night.

While Coronation Street took home the most gongs with six, they failed to pick up the big one - Best British Soap - which went to their BBC rivals.

Villain of the year went to EastEnders killer Aaron Thiara for his role of murdering hunk Ravi Gulati.

And Danielle Harold won Best Leading Performer for her work as tragic cancer victim Lola Pearce-Brown.

Meanwhile Hollyoaks took home two awards with Eric's incel plot being named Best Storyline, and The Tony Warren Award going to casting superstar Peter Hunt.

And despite a bumper year, Emmerdale could only manage one win.

The ITV soap failed to win a single storyline award, but did take home a lifetime achievement award for Marlon Dingle star Mark Charnock.
