"When she begins experiencing paranormal occurrences throughout the night, she begins to uncover the truth about the cult and its connection to her family's past."

However, those that had dared to take a look at the spine chilling flick have warned it is not for the faint-hearted as they aired their thoughts on Twitter.

One said: "I have not been this scared since #Insidious & the first #TheConjuring … #Malum is easily a top 5 horror film of the year. This film is certainly an experience!"

A third shared: "This movie is making her jump and scream!!!"

Whilst a fourth left a mini review of the film, saying: "Unsettling. Nerve-wrecking. Adrenaline-fueled. & definitely underrated.

A perfect psychological horror. Malum will keep you on the edge & sweating throughout the whole show, non-stop."

They then unnervingly added: "Watch at your own risk."
