LOVE Island fans have been left covering their ears after the show was hit with a massive editing blunder.

Viewers of the ITV2 show recoiled in horror during the latest instalment when several of the Islanders got close and shared a kiss.

Both Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas were shown snogging, as were Molly Marsh and Mitchel Taylor.

But the sound of 'kissing noises' was so loud during these scenes that Love Island fans were left feeling sick to their stomaches.

Taking to Twitter, one complained: "Why is there so much noise with the kissing?!"

Another agreed: "They need a kissing noise filter for those mics pls pls pls."

A third posted a 'green-faced' emoji, saying: "No one, literally no one wants to hear people kissing, why do they leave that horrendous noise in?"

And someone else chimed in: "The noise of kissing please love island stop it, knocks me sick."

This is not the first time Love Island has been hit with complaints about 'kissing noises'.

In 2020, fans complained to television watchdog Ofcom about the 'torturous' sound.

But there was the same gripe in 2021, with viewers begging fans to turn the kissing microphones off, while Islanders Dami Hope and Amber Beckford were branded "gross" for their noisy snog last year.
