A WOMAN has admitted she's "terrified" after finding out she's four months pregnant after giving birth just five months ago.

TikTok user @midlifecrisismomma posted a video where she can be seen giving her husband a bag which contains a positive pregnancy test.

As he clocks what happens, his face shows a mixture of emotions - from shock to happiness.

"What - really?" he asks.

"For real huh?"

In the clip, the pregnant mum explains: "Telling my husband I was four months pregnant when he has become a first time dad only five months prior."

"There was only two times I could have conceived before we actively started preventing…

"I had a negative pregnancy test 2.5 months after birth.

"I was nursing so I hadn't had a period.

"Five months after giving birth I landed in the ER with severe stomach pain, only to be told I was indeed pregnant again and already four months along."

This means the woman will have Irish twins - a pair of siblings born less than 12 months apart.

The video has since racked up 164,000 views and been flooded with comments online.

"I have boys that are 11 months 11 days apart. Welcome to the Irish twin club," wrote one.

The pregnant mum replied: "It’s a little terrifying! Lol."

A second penned: "Two of our children are 9 months and 27 days apart. Congratulations!"

A third told: "One of my friends had a baby in January then twins in December of the same year."

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Yep! My older kids are 1 year apart. Found out at 16 weeks pregnant because I was also nursing."

The pregnant woman quipped: "Expected to see a bean and the damn thing had arms and legs."

A further added: "Sounds like my mum's story of how I got here - Irish twins."

The woman replied: "Irish twins are not for the faint of hearts!"
