Love Island star Andre Furtado has opened up about his frustration that an argument with Ruchee Gurung went unaired on the ITV2 show.
The pair were among the first to leave the villa this year after Ruchee was dumped following a recoupling and Andre was given the boot by fellow contestants.
Speaking on the Reality with Will Njobvu podcast on Thursday, the 21-year old expressed his surprise that one particular installment had been edited to exclude major tension amongst the cast.
"In an episode of course one hour is shown, but in the other 23 so much happens – and there was so much that happened between me and Ruchee," Andre explained.
"On the day [of the argument] I let Ruchee know I was still open to getting to know Catherine, which was shown in the episode. However, the moment of Ruchee going off at me wasn't."

The only person who wasn't involved was Sammy, he was just floating. The next morning you could cut the tension with a knife."
Recalling the issue with then-partner Ruchee, 24, he went into greater detail, explaining to viewers why Ruchee appeared to be angry with him.
"So after [the comment about Catherine] she [Ruchee] went and talked to Jess. She came back and she was like 'Andre, I'm not a f****** d******* I promise you'."
"I should have just closed my mouth, but my emotions got to me and inside I was very tense. So I think the way I worded it wasn't necessarily what I was trying to say. It might have seemed like I was trying to go back to Catherine, but me and Catherine had had a conversation with regards to our circumstances."
He added: "What me and Ruchee had was very, very good, and it was very, very genuine. But I could see there was untapped potential with Catherine. I didn't want to jump ship, but I did want to test it out.
"And when I let Ruchee know I was open about getting to know Catherine she said she wouldn't be 'second place'."
Andre added that he was also frustrated that the show wasn't edited to show his fun side enough, and that he was "always pranking" and often "unserious".
"I was like the little big brother in there," he said. "Although I was the youngest I was always checking on everyone and making sure they were good.
"Still having that serious side but at the same time being goofy as well. And I feel like that side of me wasn't really shown."
Andre was brutally dumped from the villa alongside Charlotte last week after the public were given the power to vote for their favourite couple – but the Islanders had the final say in a shock twist that saw the pair pack their bags after just two weeks.

Due to the fact Molly and Jess wanted to get to know Zach and Sammy more, they decided to send home Andre, while the boys decided that Charlotte's time was up, leaving viewers fuming.
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
