A couple have gone viral after celebrating their divorce together.
Iury Maia and Barbara Benjamin became a couple in 2012, married two years later and soon had a son.
The pair, from Ceará State in Brazil, decided to separate in 2018 and signed their divorce papers in 2021, but because of “bureaucratic problems” they only received official confirmation this week, on June 26.
To mark the occasion, the exes posted a video on Instagram of themselves together, divorce certificate in hand, both celebrating.
At one point luri says jokingly that finally he was "free from evil".

In comments below the post friends applauded the pair for their closeness and maturity.

He said: “We live much better as friends than we did when married. The split was due to several reasons, several coexistence problems.
“Today, we joke, make coffee, have dinners, celebrate birthdays and barbecues together. I love her boyfriend, he’s a good person who treats our son very well.”
He added: “We get along very well and have a good relationship because of our son. I visit my son every day.”
"We chose this kind of relationship to raise our son well and have peace of mind.”
The ex-couple, who have been interviewed a number of times by local media outlets, said they plan to celebrate their divorce in style after receiving an invitation from a local restaurant.
Their Instagram posts have had thousands of views and lots of people have left supportive comments.

One man said he did his "celebration" six months ago as well.
