HE loves an eclectic mix of subjects on his BBC Two interview show, and Louis Theroux looks like he’s got the most varied line up of stars yet for the upcoming series.
I can reveal that he’ll be profiling singer Raye and was seen watching in the wings as she perform live at Glastonbury Festival last weekend.
She has been open about her past history of substance abuse and sexual abuse, including one instance with a record producer.
A TV insider said: “Louis isn’t just interested in big name movie actors or elite sportsmen, he likes someone with major life experiences to explore.
“And Raye, who has been incredibly honest about her own past life, certainly fits that bill, which is why he was so keen to sign her up for the new series.

“But she’s also a musician, which is a big draw for Louis as he’s a man who loves his music and he certainly has eclectic tastes.”
In his last Louis Theroux Interviews . . . series, which is made by his own production company called Mindhouse, half his subjects were musicians.
They were the Let You Love Me Singer Rita Ora grime artists Stormzy and relative newcomer, Yungblud.
Louis also sat down with acting legend Dame Judi Dench, adventurer Bear Grylls and outspoken comedian Katherine Ryan.
I revealed in April that the new series had already seen him sign up champion boxer Anthony Joshua.
Louis talked to AJ in the weeks leading up to his heavyweight clash with American Jermaine Franklin at the 02 earlier this year.
But it remains to be seen who else he’ll line up for the show, which is expected to air later this year.
You can bet they’ll all be belters though.

CHRISTINE McGUINNESS put on a leggy display as she worked the TRIC Awards red carpet.

Martin: I’ll still do duty
Martin Compston may have broken America with hit Amazon Prime Video thriller The Rig, but the Scottish actor is determined to return to do his Duty back home.
Martin, best known as DI Steve Arnott in BBC One’s Line Of Duty, told the Celtic View podcast: “I’ve got lovely management in America who tell me every year, ‘This has to be your last one’. But I’m really proud of the show, and if that’s the best that I’ll ever do, then so be it.”
Last year I told how Martin and Line Of Duty co-stars Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure were up for a seventh series.
The only clashes could be Adrian filming drama Ridley, and Vicky’s Trigger Point.
Getting them together is tougher than trying to reform Oasis.
